Development of fiber-chip coupling methods for use with polymeric fibers
This paper shows a new method for fiber-chip coupling. To optimize coupling between a light emitting device and a polymeric fiber, special modules were developed. In this paper the measurement results of these modules are presented. Among other things, the PI-curve and the median field were measured and long-term tests were run.
