Bundesanstalt für Materialforschung und -prüfung in Berlin
Mit der Bundesanstalt für Materialforschung und -prüfung in Berlin ( BAM) besteht eine Vereinbarung zur Zusammenarbeit in der Charakterisierung von Optischen Polymerfasern. Die BAM Berlin besitzt seit über einem Jahrzehnt ein umfangreiches Know-How auf dem Gebiet der Untersuchung von Zuverlässigkeit von POF und anderen optische Fasern.
Im Jahre 1998 fand die Internationale POF-Konferenz bei der BAM im Berlin statt.
Prof. Daum ist Mitglied des IC-POF.
